The Sims 4 Lovestruck Expansion Pack and July 2024 Updates: What’s New

EA Games and Maxis have released a series of exciting updates and an expansion pack for The Sims 4 in July 2024. Here are the highlights for this month:

 

The Sims 4 Lovestruck Expansion Pack

Set to release on July 25, 2024, the Lovestruck Expansion Pack will add more romance to your Sims’ lives. This expansion pack introduces several new features to deepen your Sims’ romantic relationships and dating experiences.

 

• Cupid’s Corner: This new app allows Sims to match with others and set up dates using their phones or computers. Sims can make matches based on their age preferences and sexual orientation. Additionally, you can save your favorite Sims and arrange special dates with them.

• Date Planning: Sims can now plan dates by choosing various venues and activities. Dates will have goals based on the selected activities, encouraging Sims to interact more with each other. You can also change the venue during the date for a change of scenery.

• Romantic Interactions: New romantic interactions have been added, allowing Sims to play romantic games, feed each other from shareable treat boxes, cuddle in bed, and share special moments with the new “Romantic Blanket” item. Sims can experience romantic moments anywhere with this portable blanket.

• Heartbreak Happens: Sims can die from a broken heart if they experience too many back-to-back heartbreaks, adding a new level of emotional realism to the game.

 

July 2024 Updates

This month’s updates bring new features to build mode. The Ceiling Paint feature will allow players to paint the ceilings of their builds. Additionally, the Free Camera Mode in build mode will enable more flexible and creative designs.
